SAVE THE ELDERS FOUNDATION
Committed to Dignity, Care, and Healthy Aging

VISION

To create a society where elderly individuals live with dignity, receive quality healthcare, and are protected from all forms of violence and neglect.

MISSION

Save the Elders Foundation is dedicated to improving the well-being of elderly people by providing healthcare support, protection from abuse, and a safe environment where they can access essential services. We advocate for the rights of senior citizens and work to ensure they live healthy, respected, and fulfilling lives.

OUR PLANS & INITIATIVES

1. Strengthening the Healthy Aging Initiative Program

Our Healthy Aging Initiative focuses on addressing the health and wellness of elderly individuals by:

  • Combating non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart conditions.

  • Preventing and managing communicable diseases to ensure better health outcomes.

  • Providing mental health support to tackle issues like depression and loneliness.

  • Educating the elderly and caregivers on healthy lifestyles and nutrition to promote longevity.

  • Conducting mobile healthcare services in both rural and urban areas to provide essential medical support.

2. Gender-Based Violence Protection

We are committed to ensuring the safety and dignity of elderly people by:

  • Raising awareness and advocating for the prevention of gender-based violence (GBV) among the elderly.

  • Establishing reporting mechanisms for victims of abuse.

  • Collaborating with legal and social welfare organizations to offer protection and justice for affected individuals.

3. Establishing a State-of-the-Art Elderly Care Facility

We plan to construct a modern, well-equipped building that will:

  • Provide a dedicated clinic for elderly healthcare needs, ensuring accessible and quality treatment.

  • Serve as a community center where elderly individuals can participate in wellness activities, therapy, and support programs.

  • House the Save the Elders Foundation office, making it easier for people to reach us and seek assistance.

4. Expanding Community Engagement & Advocacy

  • Conducting awareness campaigns to educate the public on elderly rights and care.

  • Strengthening partnerships with government, NGOs, and private organizations to enhance our impact.

  • Utilizing social media and digital platforms to promote our cause, attract supporters, and share success stories.

INVITATION FOR VOLUNTEERS & SUPPORT

We invite healthcare volunteers to join us in delivering mobile healthcare services for both communicable and non-communicable diseases in rural and urban areas. Additionally, we welcome support for hospital facilities, medications, and medical supplies to improve elderly healthcare services.

We also seek volunteers and donors to support:

  • Food provision for elderly individuals in vulnerable communities.

  • Housing repairs to ensure safe and dignified living conditions.

  • Community education programs to raise awareness about elderly care in Arusha, Tanzania.
